Dr. P. Suthakaran is an accomplished biotechnologist with over 23 years of expertise in biotechnology research, recombinant protein technology, and bioprocess development. He holds an M.Tech in Biotechnology and a Ph.D. in Genetic Engineering from Anna University, India.

His core expertise encompasses recombinant protein expression, molecular cloning, strain engineering, fermentation, and downstream processing. He specializes in developing and optimizing high-yield microbial and mammalian expression systems for recombinant proteins.

His technical experience includes E. coli and yeast-based expression platforms, protein folding, solubility enhancement, and process optimization. Dr. Suthakaran has contributed to the development of recombinant therapeutic proteins, diagnostic antigens, antibodies, recombinant enzymes and clinical enzymes, and other high-value biopharmaceutical molecules.

Prior to founding Genprotic Biopharma, he served as a Senior Scientist at Anthem Biosciences Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. He also worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in China, gaining advanced exposure to protein engineering and biotechnology research. Dr. Suthakaran focuses on translating laboratory-scale discoveries into robust, scalable, and commercially viable bioprocesses.

At Genprotic Biopharma, he leads R&D, technology development, process scale-up, and strategic innovation in recombinant biotechnology. His vision is to establish advanced recombinant protein and bio-processing technologies for global diagnostic, therapeutic, and industrial biotechnology applications.

Expertise spans biotechnology commercialization, clinical enzyme and recombinant antigen markets, healthcare procurement, and international logistics, consistently driving revenue growth and robust financial controls.
