Dr. P. Suthakaran is an esteemed biotechnologist with over 16 years of experience spanning research and industry. Holding an M.Tech in Biotechnology and a Ph.D. in Genetic Engineering from the prestigious Anna University, India, Dr. Suthakaran specializes in recombinant protein production, focusing on optimizing strategies to enhance biological efficacy.

Before establishing Genprotic Biopharma, Dr. Suthakaran held pivotal roles as a senior scientist at Anthem Biosciences Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, and as a post-doctoral research fellow at Sun Yat Sen University, China. With a notable track record, he has excelled in scaling up fermentation processes for a wide array of therapeutic and non-therapeutic recombinant proteins.

Dr. Suthakaran's expertise underscores his commitment to adhering to international standards of excellence in biotechnology. His contributions have significantly advanced the field, positioning him as a leader in the global biopharmaceutical landscape.

Dr. Parthiban is the founder and CEO of Svastia Genetics, Inc., a company focused on developing Svastia.ai, a digital health platform aimed at improving cancer therapy outcomes through personalized genetic screening of cancer patients.

He earned his PhD at CUBIC (Cologne University Bioinformatics Centre) under the International Max Planck Research School PhD fellowship, where his research in protein structural bioinformatics led to the creation of CUPSAT, a widely used tool in protein engineering. Following his PhD, Dr. Parthiban completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, established by Fred Sanger, the inventor of DNA sequencing and a pioneer of the Human Genome Project.

With over 15 years of R&D experience, Dr. Parthiban has contributed extensively to multi-omics technologies, particularly genomics, through both academic and commercial projects. During his time at the Sanger Institute, his work was instrumental in the implementation of the Genomic Medicine service in the UK's National Health Service. He also played a key role in large-scale genomics projects at Sanger, analyzing thousands of patients across various disease areas.
